Episode Ending
In "The Boys" Season 1, Episode 6, things really heat up when Hughie and Starlight have their first real date, which ends with a kiss, but not before Hughie gets twitchy about the whole secret mission thing. Meanwhile, Butcher and Mother's Milk find out that Vought's Compound V is being used to create super babies, which is just as creepy as it sounds. On the Vought side of things, Homelander is busy being his charmingly psychotic self. He and Queen Maeve save a hijacked plane in the most disastrous way possible by letting it crash after realizing they can't save everyone. Homelander spins it into a PR win by suggesting that if they had been part of the military, they could have done more. Classic Homelander logic. Back in the land of vigilantes, Frenchie tries to help the mysterious Female who was locked up in a cage, only to find out she is more than capable of defending herself. She’s released into the wild after taking down a few guards, proving she's not someone to mess with. Meanwhile, A-Train is still on his quest to keep his Compound V usage under wraps. He brutally kills his girlfriend Popclaw after she spills the beans to someone she shouldn’t have. By the end of the episode, everyone's got secrets and lies stacking up like an unstable Jenga tower, ready to topple at any moment.
