Episode Ending
In the final episode of the first season of "The Boys," things get wild. Billy Butcher takes Madelyn Stillwell hostage, rigging her house with explosives to draw out Homelander. But Homelander, being the charming sociopath he is, turns the tables by confessing to Madelyn that he knows about her lies regarding his son. With a chilling lack of remorse, Homelander lasers Madelyn's eyes, killing her right in front of Butcher. Butcher, who's all about chaos at this point, detonates the explosives. Instead of everything going boom, Homelander flies him away to a safe distance. Butcher wakes up on a suburban lawn, where he meets Becca, his supposedly dead wife, and her son—who's very much alive and has Homelander's eyes. So yeah, turns out Becca's been alive this whole time, raising a super-powered kid with a guy she didn't exactly choose. Homelander’s smirk says it all as he introduces Butcher to this new family dynamic.
