S3E7: Here Comes a Candle to Light You to Bed

In "The Boys" Season 3, Episode 7, things ramp up as Soldier Boy, Butcher, and Hughie continue their mission to take down Homelander. They manage to track down Mindstorm, one of Soldier Boy's old teammates. But during the confrontation, Mindstorm puts Butcher into a coma, trapping him in his worst memories. While Butcher is reliving his traumatic past, Hughie manages to convince Mindstorm to wake him up by promising safety. But before they can make good on that promise, Soldier Boy kills Mindstorm brutally with a shield to the head — so much for keeping promises. Meanwhile, Annie (Starlight) exposes Vought's corruption by going live on social media from the Vought tower, warning the public about the dangers of Temp V. Maeve is revealed to be alive but is still imprisoned by Homelander. She learns that Temp V has lethal side effects, which could spell trouble for Hughie and Butcher. The episode ends on a tense note as Homelander finally learns about his biological connection to Soldier Boy. This revelation sets up a potentially explosive family reunion for the finale.
