S3E8: The Instant White-Hot Wild

In the season finale of "The Boys" Season 3, things kick off with Homelander finding Ryan at a safe house and convincing him to leave with him, which is every bit as ominous as it sounds. Meanwhile, Butcher and his ragtag team decide to team up with Soldier Boy to take down Homelander once and for all. Soldier Boy is on board, but he’s got his own agenda that doesn’t exactly scream “team player.” At Vought Tower, it all goes down. Maeve, who’s been missing in action, breaks free and joins the fight against Homelander. It's a super-powered slugfest with everyone throwing punches—literally. Soldier Boy tries to take out Homelander using his explosive powers, but things take a turn when Ryan gets caught in the crossfire. Butcher steps in to protect the kid, leading to a messy family squabble. Maeve sacrifices herself by tackling Soldier Boy out of the tower window just as he’s about to go nuclear. They explode mid-air, but Maeve survives, albeit minus her powers. Homelander flies off with Ryan, setting the stage for a very awkward father-son bonding session. The episode wraps up with The Boys regrouping, licking their wounds, and plotting their next move while Vought spins the events into more PR-friendly lies. Classic.
