Season Ending
In the season finale of "Stranger Things" Season 1, things kick off with Joyce and Hopper venturing into the Upside Down to find Will. They eventually locate him in the eerie replica of Hawkins, barely clinging to life, and manage to bring him back to the real world. Meanwhile, back at the school, Mike and his friends are busy dealing with the Demogorgon and trying to keep Eleven safe. Eleven uses her powers one last time to confront the Demogorgon, ultimately disintegrating it but vanishing in the process. This leaves everyone wondering what happened to her. With Will rescued and back home, he seems fine—until he coughs up a slug-like creature and briefly sees a vision of the Upside Down. In the closing moments, Hopper is seen leaving some Eggos in a box in the woods, suggesting he has some connection to Eleven's fate. The season wraps up with plenty of questions about what's next for Hawkins and whether the Upside Down is truly gone for good.
