S2E6: Chapter Six: The Spy

As "Stranger Things" Season 2, Episode 6 rolls to its conclusion, the Hawkins crew faces their usual dose of supernatural chaos. Dustin and Steve team up to track down Dart, the demodog, hoping it hasn't caused too much havoc. Meanwhile, Lucas is busy catching Max up on all things Upside Down, including a quick rundown of the Demogorgon and Will's possession — not exactly light first-date material. Over at the Byers' house, Will is in rough shape. The Mind Flayer has him in its clutches, and Joyce, Jonathan, and Nancy are desperately trying to help him communicate. They come up with a plan to essentially sweat the monster out of him by cranking up the heat. The episode wraps with a tense confrontation at the lab. Hopper, accompanied by Dr. Owens and his team, discovers that the tunnels beneath Hawkins are spreading and that they need to be burned out. Just as they're making progress, the power goes out — because when has anything in Hawkins ever gone smoothly? The demodogs have infiltrated the lab, leaving everyone in a precarious situation as the episode cuts to black.
