S2E7: Chapter Seven: The Lost Sister

In "Stranger Things" Season 2, Episode 7, Eleven, now going by Jane, is still with Kali and her gang in Chicago. They track down Ray, one of the men who worked at Hawkins Lab and had a hand in the experiments on Eleven's mother. The plan is to kill him, but Eleven gets a glimpse of his kids and hesitates. Kali uses her powers to make Ray see his worst fears, but when Eleven is about to finish him off, she ultimately decides against it, letting him live. This moment of mercy doesn't sit well with Kali, who insists that they need to eliminate those who wronged them. Despite the tension, Eleven feels a strong pull to return to Hawkins after experiencing a vision of Mike and Hopper in danger. In the end, Eleven parts ways with Kali and the gang. She takes a bus back to Hawkins, leaving behind the life of vengeance Kali offered. The episode closes with Eleven determined to rejoin her friends and protect them from the looming threat.
