S3E7: Chapter Seven: The Bite

Alright, so in "Stranger Things" Season 3, Episode 7, things are heating up. Eleven and the gang are still dealing with the Mind Flayer's latest iteration, which has grown into a grotesque monster made of melted people. After a little trip down memory lane using her powers, Eleven figures out that Billy is the key to the creature's machinations. Meanwhile, Hopper, Joyce, and Murray are on their own little caper at the Russian base beneath Starcourt Mall. They’re trying to shut down the machine that's keeping the gate to the Upside Down open. Alexei provides some intel before meeting an untimely end at the hands of a Russian hitman — because of course, there has to be one of those lurking around. Back at Starcourt Mall, everyone reconvenes just in time for a showdown. Eleven gets injured during a skirmish with the Mind Flayer, which is inconvenient timing since she's kind of their MVP. The episode wraps up with our heroes gearing up for what will undoubtedly be a chaotic finale — because if there’s one thing Hawkins does well, it’s chaos.
