Season Ending
In the season finale of "Rick and Morty" Season 1, we find our favorite mad scientist and his grandson at a party. Rick throws an intergalactic shindig at the Smith family home while the parents, Jerry and Beth, are out of town. The guest list includes a plethora of bizarre alien species, and naturally, things escalate quickly. As the party rages on, Morty is predictably overwhelmed by the chaos. Meanwhile, Summer is having her own existential crisis, complicated by her crush on one of the alien guests. Rick, in his usual reckless fashion, is more concerned with keeping the party alive than worrying about any potential consequences. Of course, those consequences do arrive in the form of a trashed house and a time-freezing device gone awry. The episode wraps up with Rick freezing time to clean up the disastrous mess before Jerry and Beth return. The family manages to restore order just in time, but not without some close calls. In classic Rick fashion, he leaves us with a sense that no matter how much havoc he wreaks, he's always got another trick up his sleeve to reset things — or at least make it look like he did.
