S1E5: Meeseeks and Destroy

In "Rick and Morty" Season 1, Episode 5, titled "Meeseeks and Destroy," things come to a head when the Meeseeks summoned by Jerry begin to lose their cool. As their frustration peaks, the Meeseeks hatch a plan to kill Jerry to fulfill their purpose, which is more than a bit drastic for a bunch of blue helpers. Meanwhile, Rick and Morty find themselves in a different pickle. They're in a fantasy world where Morty's decision-making skills lead them into a deadly situation at the hands of Mr. Jellybean. Rick, ever the pragmatist, handles the threat with his usual nonchalance and a gun. Back with the Meeseeks, they eventually solve Jerry's golfing woes with some aggressive teamwork, causing them to disappear in a puff of satisfaction. In the aftermath, Jerry and Beth's marriage gets a slight boost from the chaos, because nothing says bonding like narrowly avoiding assassination by magical creatures. Rick and Morty return home with Rick casually brushing off Morty's traumatic experience as just another day in their bizarre universe.
