S1E6: Rick Potion #9

In "Rick and Morty" Season 1, Episode 6, the episode wraps up with Rick and Morty escaping from the simulation set up by the Zigerion aliens. The aliens were trying to extract Rick's recipe for concentrated dark matter. Rick, having been aware of their plan all along, tricks them by giving them a fake formula that causes their ship to explode. Back on Earth, Morty is left shaken by the experience, as he was unaware he was in a simulation until the end. Meanwhile, Jerry, blissfully unaware of the alien plot, continues to enjoy his day in what he believes is the real world, delivering a successful advertising pitch. However, it's revealed that his entire experience was also part of a lower-level simulation run by the aliens. The episode concludes with Jerry content with his "success," while Rick and Morty return to their normal lives. The Zigerions are presumably left floating in space debris, thanks to Rick's calculated sabotage. Rick celebrates their victory with Morty back at home by watching TV and drinking, as if it was just another day in their chaotic lives.
