S3E2: Rickmancing the Stone
Rick, Morty and Summer travel to a post-apocalyptic dimension and meet some dangerous enemies.
Episode Ending
So, in this episode, Rick and Morty find themselves embroiled in a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic wasteland. It's all about chaos, war rigs, and ridiculous leather outfits. After stumbling into this dystopian realm, Morty finds a mysterious green rock that gives him super strength and a bit of an attitude problem. While Morty is busy indulging in his newfound power trip, Rick is more interested in using the wasteland's resources to create some kind of hybrid vehicle. Summer, on the other hand, gets cozy with the local warlord named Hemorrhage. She seems quite taken with the whole brutal survival thing — because of course she does. The episode winds down with Rick building a contraption to extract the isotope from the rock Morty found, but not before they manage to stir up more trouble than they bargained for. Eventually, after a series of over-the-top antics and betrayals that you'd expect from a wasteland society, they decide to head back home. They leave behind a slightly less dysfunctional society and take Summer's new beau with them. In the end, Hemorrhage gets dumped and left behind when Summer realizes he doesn’t fit in at home — surprise, surprise — and Rick makes sure to keep things as chaotic as ever by messing with his new invention. Back to square one for the Smith family.
