S3E5: The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy

In "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Episode 5, titled "The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy," things wrap up with quite a bang. After a chaotic adventure at an intergalactic resort with an immortality field, Rick and Jerry's attempt to sabotage the field goes awry, leading to a series of dangerous and absurd events. They eventually escape on a rollercoaster, only for the ride to malfunction when they leave the immortality zone. Jerry ends up inadvertently saving Rick from an assassin during this mess, which earns him a grudging bit of respect from Rick. Despite their differences and constant bickering, they manage to make it back home in one piece. Meanwhile, Morty and Summer deal with their own issues back on Earth — Morty helps Summer get over her breakup by using a morphizer gun to alter her size, which naturally spirals out of control until Morty fixes it. The episode closes with the Smith family returning to its usual dysfunction. Rick casually dismisses any sentimentality from their adventure, while Jerry gains a small amount of confidence from his experience with Rick, though it's clear things won't change much for him in the long run. Just another day in the absurd life of the Smith family.
