Episode Ending
In "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Episode 9, titled "The ABC's of Beth," we see Beth dealing with the realization that she might be just like her father, Rick. She returns to Froopyland, a whimsical dimension Rick created for her as a child, to find her childhood friend Tommy who has been missing for years. Turns out, Tommy survived by eating the creatures of Froopyland and even his own offspring—charming. Beth's mission to bring Tommy back to his father is fraught with chaos, but eventually, she creates a clone of him to return home. Meanwhile, Rick offers Beth the chance to leave her life behind by creating a clone of her that would stay with the family while she goes off on adventures. Naturally, the episode leaves it ambiguous whether Beth took Rick up on his offer or not. Back at home, Jerry attempts to reconnect with his kids by taking them on a camping trip. This naturally ends in disaster when Summer and Morty aren't impressed by his efforts. The episode closes with a sort of status quo: Jerry is still Jerry, Beth's decision remains unclear, and Rick continues being the mad scientist he is.
