S4E5: Rattlestar Ricklactica

In "Rick and Morty" Season 4, Episode 5, the episode wraps up with Morty getting his hand on a crystal that shows him all potential futures, leading him to obsess over dying with Jessica by his side. This obsession drives him to ignore Rick's attempts to stop him, even going as far as to betray Rick multiple times. Eventually, Morty's reckless behavior causes chaos, leading to a confrontation with the authorities. In a twist, Morty's pursuit of the perfect death ends with him realizing the vision was never about Jessica loving him; it was about her pitying him. Meanwhile, Rick creates a hologram version of himself to try and guide Morty back on track but ultimately has to intervene personally. The episode concludes with Morty finally listening to Rick and giving up the crystal. They escape the mess Morty's created, and Rick erases the memories of everyone involved in the chaos. As always, things reset to a semblance of normalcy, with Rick and Morty returning home, leaving behind yet another trail of destruction from their misadventures.
