S5E3: A Rickconvenient Mort

In "Rick and Morty" Season 5, Episode 3, titled "A Rickconvenient Mort," things wrap up with Morty trying to win over Planetina, an eco-conscious superhero. After a whirlwind romance where Morty goes to extreme lengths to prove his dedication, Planetina starts taking her environmental activism to dangerous levels. She ends up causing havoc by destroying a coal mine and attacking its workers. Morty's mom, Beth, is less than thrilled about his new relationship and confronts him. Morty, stubborn and smitten, initially pushes back but ultimately faces the harsh reality of Planetina's methods. Despite his feelings, he realizes that her radical approach is too much for him. Meanwhile, Rick is off on a subplot with Summer in a quest for wild partying during the apocalypse season. They bond over their escapades, but nothing too consequential happens in their storyline this time around. The episode closes with Morty heartbroken as he breaks up with Planetina, learning yet another tough lesson in love and life.
