S5E4: Rickdependence Spray

In "Rick and Morty" Season 5, Episode 4, titled "Rickdependence Spray," things get predictably weird and awkward. The episode starts with Morty using a breeding mount for horses at his mother's workplace, a horse hospital, which leads to a mix-up involving Rick's latest experiment. Rick uses the extracted fluids from the breeding mount for his project, thinking it's purely horse-related, but of course, Morty's secret meddling results in chaos. Rick's experiment inadvertently creates giant sperm monsters that begin terrorizing the planet. Rick and Morty, joined by Summer and a group of Marines, embark on a mission to contain the situation. As it turns out, the sperm are drawn towards Summer because she’s carrying an egg that Rick enlarged for some reason. The plan is to lure the sperm to the Grand Canyon where they can be contained. The climax sees Morty confessing about his involvement when one particularly aggressive sperm, dubbed "Sticky," manages to fertilize Summer's egg. The U.S. government plans to raise the resulting baby as a super soldier, but not before President Morty (a horse-human hybrid) emerges from the egg. In typical fashion, everything is swept under the rug with an unsettlingly casual acceptance of what just happened. By the end of it all, Morty is left grappling with the consequences of his actions, and life returns to whatever counts as normal in their universe. As always, Rick seems more amused than concerned by the whole ordeal, leaving viewers to wonder just how much more bizarre things can get in their adventures.
