Episode Ending
In "Rick and Morty" Season 6, Episode 4, the episode wraps up with Rick and Jerry having a bit of an unexpected bonding moment. Throughout the episode, Rick has been trying to prove that he's not responsible for ruining everyone's lives, while Jerry, as usual, is just trying to get by without too much trouble. After a series of misunderstandings and mishaps involving fortune cookies and predestined futures, the chaos finally settles. Rick manages to thwart the machinations of a Chinese restaurant that's been controlling destinies with their fortune cookies. Of course, it's all delightfully absurd. As things calm down, Jerry has a newfound confidence after inadvertently proving himself useful during the madness. Rick, surprisingly not dismissive for once, acknowledges Jerry's contribution in his own gruff way. The episode closes with Rick and Jerry sharing a moment of camaraderie — a rare occurrence indeed — before they return to their usual dynamic of Rick's exasperation and Jerry's obliviousness.
